Mentor Program

Share your experiences . . .

become a mentor to a college student.

Internship Virginia is looking for professionals and retired professionals to become mentors.

Internship Virginia is developing a mentor program to connect area college students with professionals and retired professionals in the community. The idea is that mentors could help students with questions about their career path, resume’ suggestions, interview techniques, professional networking and just share some of their work experiences that would be helpful to a young person starting out in that field.

We are looking for mentors in various areas of business, information technology, education, public administration, health science, other professions, and those who have worked in not‐for‐profit organziations.

Would you be interested in being a mentor?
Do you feel you have the time to meet or communicate via phone or e‐mail with a student 30‐ 60 minutes a month?
